Gardeners Question Time

Do you have a troublesome area of your garden; want hints and tips on growing perfect fruit and veg or want advice on drought tolerant plants? Then come along and join us on Tuesday 30th April in the Joan Copp room of the Holcombe Village Hall for our very own Gardeners Question Time.  There will be plants for sale from 1830 from The Dawlish Gardens Trust then our panel of experts will be there to answer your questions from 1900. Cliff Curd will be our Chair for the evening and will do his best solve your fruit and veg problems. For many years Cliff has been using ‘non dig organic techniques’ to grow a wide variety of fruit and vegetables.   Cliff will be ably assisted by  Shirley Tamblin who has a wealth of knowledge of all things horticultural and Chris Britton, well known for his helpful advice and guidance at his beautiful Nursery and Gardens at the  High Garden Nursey at Kenton,

We will have a break around 1945 where you will have the opportunity to purchase plants and have refreshments. The evening will end around 2045.

The event is in aid of St George’s Church Garden and The Dawlish Gardens Trust and the entry fee of £5 will also get you tea or coffee and a slice of cake.

If you are unable to make the evening but have a question to ask  please just drop me a line at dee@the-pococks.co.uk and time permitting I will put your question to the panel and get back to you afterwards.
